1. Personnel participating in the emergency handling of chlorine gas cylinder leakage accidents shall obtain the necessary physical and chemical properties of chlorine and liquid chlorine, toxicity characteristics, and first-aid information such as poisoning first aid, and perform chlorine gas cylinder leakage disposal according to this measure.
Second, chlorine cylinder leakage usually occurs in the following areas:
(1) Leakage at the fusible plug (2) Leakage of the bottle valve (3) Leakage from the weld of the bottle body III. Emergency measures (I) Evacuation of the personnel promptly Evacuation The evacuation of the personnel in the leaked area to the upwind point is immediately completed. According to the test results of the site and the possible hazards, determine the scope of the isolation zone and strictly restrict access. In general, the initial isolation radius for small leaks is 150m, and the initial isolation radius for large leaks is 450m. If the liquid chlorine material temperature or outside air temperature exceeds 30°C, the evacuation distance should also increase.
Within the area of ​​separation, non-accident-handling personnel are not allowed to enter.
Rescue workers entering the isolation area should wear positive pressure self-contained air breathing apparatus and wear protective clothing. During the transportation, liquid chlorine cylinders leaked, vehicle drivers and escorts were equipped with canister-type gas masks, and vehicles were transported to unmanned remote areas for disposal. It was forbidden to stay in crowded or traffic-critical areas.
Poison-type gas masks are suitable for areas where the concentration of chlorine in the air is not more than 2%, and should be prevented from failure.

7. When the liquid chlorine cylinder cannot be handled during transportation, the vehicle should be opened to no one's remote place to minimize the harm of chlorine gas.
8. Never spray water on leaking liquid chlorine cylinders.

3. Build a large amount of waste water generated by embankments or digging pits. If possible, use copper pipes to conduct the leaked chlorine gas to the lye tank, completely eliminating the potential hazards caused by chlorine. The leaked liquid chlorine cylinders can be put into the lye tank. The lye tank should be large enough. The alkali amount is generally 1.5 times of the theoretical consumption.
4. Real-time detection of chlorine content in air towels. When the chlorine content exceeds the standard, it can be absorbed by spray-like lye.
