Technical characteristics: This research is one of the national "Eighth Five-Year" research topics issued by the State Science and Technology Commission and the National Feed Industry Office. It is jointly researched by nine units including the National Agricultural University. The topic is about the growth and deficiency of the typical feeding mode of cattle and sheep in different regions of China and the conventional dietary nutrient. The bonding performance and resource distribution price of the raw materials used as the binder in China can be used; the molding conditions and processing technology of the block; The processing conditions have an in-depth systematic study on the effect of ammonia release rate on the urea in the block; the free sampling and production performance of cattle and sheep. Eight kinds of urea composite additive block binders with good effect, low price and wide range of sources were screened out. Three kinds of block forming processes suitable for different conditions were developed, and hundreds of formulas were selected for different feeding modes. And 15 different formulas of bovine and sheep compound additives for different production purposes. The research and development work in this field has successfully solved the urea addition technology of ruminant livestock and improved the utilization rate of urea nitrogen, which is of great significance to alleviate the shortage of protein feed resources in China.
Application range:
Market prospects: At present, 4 pilot-scale production plants have been established, with an annual production capacity of 2,500 tons, and several manufacturers are engaged in the introduction and negotiation of the scientific research results. In addition, peer experts agreed that the promotion and application of this research result will bring huge economic benefits to China's ruminant livestock breeding industry. According to preliminary estimates, if 20% of the cattle and sheep breeding capacity in China use this block, the national economic benefit will be 8.437 billion yuan.
