According to the Ministry of Land and Resources of Qinghai Province, Qinghai Provincial Department of Land and Resources actively seeks for and co-ordinates central and local financial and social investment in order to realize the goal of “large-scale investment” in the exploration and development of mineral resources in Qinghai Province. More than 2 billion yuan (1,294 million yuan in 2010).

Through the implementation of 9 complete reconnaissance projects, the Group will focus on the exploration of important minerals such as coal, iron, copper, lead, zinc, and gold, and strive to cover an area of ​​1:50000 regional geological and mineral surveys from 18% in 2010 to 13.2%. 6 newly discovered mineral deposits have been newly submitted, and 8-10 new mines for development have been submitted. 300 million tons of new coal, 60 million tons of iron ore, 1.5 million tons of copper, lead and zinc metals and 50 tons of gold have been newly added.
