What is the cause of the overheating of the oil pump motor bearings?

To understand the cause of overheating of the oil pump motor bearing, first understand what is the definition of bearing overheating. Dalan motor has made the following summary for reference.
To understand the cause of overheating of the oil pump motor bearing, first understand what is the definition of bearing overheating. Dalan motor has made the following summary for reference.

1. Definition of overheating of oil pump motor bearings

1 The maximum temperature of the rolling bearing does not exceed 95 °C, and the maximum temperature of the sliding bearing does not exceed 80 °C.

2 The temperature rise does not exceed 55 ° C (temperature rise is the bearing temperature minus the ambient temperature at the test).

3 related standards are as follows:

a. During the operation of the hydraulic pump, the maximum temperature of the bearing does not exceed 80 °C.

b. The temperature rise of the bearing shall not exceed the ambient temperature of 40 °C, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80 °C.

c. When the pump is running under the specified working conditions, the temperature of the outer surface of the built-in bearing should not be higher than the temperature of the conveying medium by 20 °C, and the maximum temperature is not higher than 80 °C.

d. The temperature rise of the outer surface of the externally mounted bearing should not be higher than the ambient temperature of 40 °C. The maximum temperature is not higher than 80 °C.

e, the use temperature of the bearing: the bearing temperature rise must not exceed the ambient temperature of 35 ° C, the maximum temperature must not exceed 75 ° C.

f. The temperature rise of the bearing shall not exceed 40 °C of the ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80 °C.

g, bearing temperature rise shall not exceed the ambient temperature of 35 ° C, the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80 ° C.

2. The reasons for the overheating of the hydraulic motor bearings are as follows:

1 Rolling bearing is not installed correctly, the tolerance is too tight or too loose.

2 The grease is not properly selected or used improperly maintained, the grease quality is not good or has deteriorated, or mixed with dust and impurities can cause the bearing to heat up.

3 The axial clearance between the outer bearing cap of the motor and the outer circumference of the rolling bearing is too small.

4 The end caps or bearing caps on both sides of the motor are not installed.

5 Balls, rollers, inner and outer rings, ball holders are severely worn or metal peeling.

6 Poor connection to the load machine. Including: the coupling is poorly assembled, the belt tension is too large, and the shaft of the load machine is inconsistent. The diameter of the pulley is too small, the pulley is too far away from the bearing, and the axial or radial load is too large.

The 7 axis has been bent.

Center Drill Bit

Center Drill Bit is also known as Slocombe Drills, Centre Drills were originally designed to create the countersink required to locate a tailstock centre when turning between centres. They have a point angle of 60° to match the angle of a Tailstock Centre.
A Centre Drill can also be used to provide a start location for a drill when drilling down the centre of a bar held in a Lathe chuck. Centre Drills are short and rigid enough to mark the bar centre without wandering off if they are carefully offered up to a rotating work-piece.
