Detailed explanation of the construction technology of epoxy resin potting glue

Construction technology of epoxy resin potting compound

1. Crack marking

Check and mark the nature of the crack and the length, width, depth, direction, penetration, and water leakage of the crack to determine the treatment plan. The width of the crack can be measured with a reading microscope, and the depth and direction of the crack can be checked with ultrasound, pressurized water, or borehole sampling.

2. Surface treatment

For the cracks of small concrete members, use a wire brush or other tools to remove the dirt, scum and loose layers on the surface of the concrete cracks, brush away the floating dust, and wipe off the 2 to 3 cm along the sides of the joint with alcohol or acetone . For deeper cracks in larger concrete components, to effectively seal the joint, a "V" groove can be cut along the crack. For large-volume concrete components or deep cracks, the hole can be filled with glue along the cracks, so that the glue liquid has a wider path into the cracks.

3. Pre-embedded glue nozzle

Glue nozzles must be installed at the intersections of the cracks, at the wider cracks, and at the ends of the cracks. The spacing of the grouting nozzles depends on the size, direction, and structure of the crack. Generally, the gap between the grouting nozzles is 30 when the width is 0.3 to 0.5 mm. ~ 50cm, there must be a glue inlet, exhaust or glue outlet on a crack. The glue filling nozzle can be pasted at the predetermined position with sealing glue first, or can be pasted together at the time of sealing the seam. Special care should be taken to prevent clogging of the glue nozzle.

4. Seam sealant

The quality of the sealing seam directly affects the potting effect and quality, and it should be given special attention. Seal the cracks according to the recommended proportion and mix the sealant. Use a putty knife to reciprocate and scrape along the cracks. Evenly apply a layer of glue with a thickness of about 1 to 2 mm and a width of 2 to 3 cm. Pay attention to prevent small bubbles and loose sealing.

5. Seal inspection

Under normal circumstances, the leak test can be carried out 1 to 2 days after sealing the seam with a sealing glue to check the sealing effect and penetration of the crack. If you use compressed air for the leak test, you can apply a layer of soapy water along the crack to blow in compressed air from the filling nozzle (the pressure is the same as the filling pressure), and the leak can be closed again; if you use pressure water for the leak test After the test, the compressed water should be used to blow off the accumulated water, and leave enough time for the cracks to dry. For important components or cracks with complex trend, it is recommended to conduct a leak test to ensure the effect of glue injection.

6. Preparation of joint sealant

Before preparing the crack infusion glue, the two components A and B should be shaken thoroughly, and the two components should be accurately weighed according to the recommended glue ratio and mixed evenly according to the estimated glue filling amount. Starting from the mixing of glue, the glue injection operation should be completed within the pot life (about 60 minutes at 25 ° C).

7. Low pressure and low speed glue filling

Special glue injection equipment should be used for glue injection operation. Before injection, apply compressed air to blow the seam to dry state. According to the size of the crack area, single-hole grouting or zoned group grouting can be used. The glue on a crack can be shallow to deep, from bottom to top, from one end to the other. The glue filling pressure is usually 0.2MPa. Under the condition of ensuring smooth glue filling, a lower glue pressure and a longer glue filling time are used to obtain a better glue filling effect. When the last glue outlet is out of glue and the glue out rate is stable, keep the pressure injection for about 10 minutes to stop the glue filling. Remove the pipeline, and pay attention to prevent glue flow.

8. Glue curing

Under normal theoretical conditions, carbene joint sealant is cured in an environment above 5 ℃, and the specific curing time depends on the ambient temperature. Under normal conditions (25 ℃), it can be cured for 2 to 3 days.

9. Inspection of glue filling effect

After the glue filling is finished, the glue filling effect and quality should be checked. If there is any unqualified condition such as incompactness, refill should be made. The effect of grouting can generally be checked by pressurized water, and inspection holes are set in parts with many cracks and poor quality of grouting. The water pressure is generally 70 to 80% of the grouting pressure. . For large-scale components, you can also select appropriate locations for core sampling and inspection, and process core samples into test pieces for mechanical performance testing.
