As a major pilot for the development of the Internet of Things, the State Council places high expectations on the Wuxi National Sensor Network Innovation Demonstration Zone and hopes to create a sensor network innovation demonstration zone with global influence.

It is understood that at present, there are 32 key research and development institutions for aggregated polymer networking in Wuxi National Sensor Network Innovation Demonstration Zone. Wuxi Institute of Internet of Things has successively undertaken nearly 900 research and development projects, led and participated in the development of 9 international standards for the Internet of Things, and 12 national standards; the number of employees in the Internet of Things exceeded 100,000, and 608 companies have achieved industrialization. . A total of 93 Internet of Things application demonstration projects were completed and under construction in Jiangsu.

According to Feixiang.com, a number of global standardization organizations, including ITU, IEEE, ISO, etc., have already competed to standardize the work of the Internet of Things. In order to strengthen China's dominance in the Internet of Things industry, the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) has initiated the establishment of the OneM2M, an international standardization partner for the Internet of Things (IoT), in collaboration with six global ICT sector standardization organizations to ensure that Internet of Things devices can be connected globally.

The responsible person of CCSA stated that the specification developed by OneM2M will provide a common platform for communication service providers to support different industries from smart grid, intelligent transportation, e-health and telemedicine, enterprise supply chain, home automation, energy management and public safety. Applications.

"From the point of view of end-to-end services that are independent of access, OneM2M will also use a common use case and architecture that spans various IoT applications to create a globally-accepted end-to-end specification for the Internet of Things," explains the person in charge.

It is reported that OneM2M has begun accepting applications for domestic companies in order to strengthen domestic enterprises' right to formulate standards for the Internet of Things.
