On August 29, 2007, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China issued Public Notice No. 68 of 2007, which decided to impose anti-dumping duties on imported bisphenol A originating in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. The anti-dumping measures have been implemented since August 30, 2007 and expire on August 29, 2012.
Article 48 of the “Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Anti-dumping†stipulates that the period for collecting anti-dumping duties may be appropriately extended if it is determined in the review that the termination of anti-dumping duties may lead to the continued or recurrence of dumping and damage.
From the date of this announcement, natural persons, legal persons or relevant organizations representing the industries in Mainland China or the industries representing Mainland China may apply for a final review in writing to the Ministry of Commerce 60 days before the expiration date of the anti-dumping measures. The application should contain sufficient evidence to require a clear indication of the final review and termination of the anti-dumping measures that may lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and damage.
If the Chinese mainland industry or a natural person, legal person or related organization representing the Chinese mainland industry did not submit an application for review, the Ministry of Commerce did not initiate a final review before the expiration date of the anti-dumping measures. The above anti-dumping measures were implemented on August 30, 2012. End of implementation on the day.
