The waterproof casing seal eliminates the influence of the dynamic ring seal in the ordinary spring seal, so that the applicable medium and temperature are greatly expanded. Generally, the material of the common mechanical seal of the moving ring seal is made of organic compounds such as polytetrafluoroethylene rubber. Organic compounds will react with certain media in certain chemical reactions. Under low temperature and high temperature, the physical properties will change, and the hardening will cause the seal to fail. The waterproof casing seal can be free from the above factors. Ketones, olefins, alkanes and general oils, acids, alkali salts and many other media, temperature range can also be -250 °C - 400 °C, of ​​course, this also requires strict selection of welding and thermal repair of waterproof casing.
Waterproof casing installation rules:
1. First check the waterproof casing. For the quality of the flexible waterproof casing, pipe fittings and rubber sealing ring, clean the dirt of the socket and the socket, and then install the apron in the groove of the socket, which cannot be deformed. The circle has positive and negative points and cannot be reversed.
2. The length of the pipe end insertion should include the amount of expansion and contraction caused by the temperature difference. The value should be calculated according to the closed temperature difference during construction. It can be used according to the values ​​in Table I - 29 during construction.
3. After the insertion depth is determined, the insertion depth line should be drawn at the pipe end.
4. Check the position of the rubber ring in the circumferential direction with the feeler gauge in the interface gap.
5 , the rubber ring and the socket insertion part should be coated with lubricant. Lubricants must be non-toxic, odorless, and will not breed bacteria. Lubricants are mostly soapy liquids or detergents. It is strictly forbidden to use butter. It does not harm the flexible waterproof casing and rubber ring ( one oil and other oils). Lubricant ) .
6. Insert the socket into the socket and align it with the axis. Use a special tension tool such as a tightener to insert the label into the target evenly. When the insertion is difficult, check if the rubber ring is placed accurately.
