4.2 Using FEA-MESH to modify the rebound
Combining Compensator technology with FEA data can improve mold design efficiency, and designers no longer have to spend a lot of time rebuilding springback-compensated surfaces. The process is as follows:
1) Obtain the initial mesh and springback mesh according to FEA.
2) In the TD, the node information is obtained from the initial mesh and the springback mesh respectively, and the number of nodes of the two meshes is required to be the same.
3) Use the Compensator technology to automatically obtain the deformation data of the rebound to determine the displacement area as shown in Figure 4-6.
