We have processed a number of hydraulic reversing valve bodies (Fig. 1) for the factory, which are made of 45 steel. Obviously, the φ15mm hole is one of the difficulties in machining. If the ordinary single-edged boring tool is used for processing, the mast is thin and the rigidity is poor. It is easy to generate vibration and “make the knife†phenomenon during the cutting process, affecting the surface of the hole. Roughness, resulting in flare defects. Therefore, the accuracy and surface roughness of the holes are difficult to ensure.
A laser band-pass filter has a wavelength of 355nm/532nm/633nm/1064nm/10.6 um and is characterized by high damage threshold, high surface quality and high precision.
