Recently, the Food and Drug Administration of Jinan City conducted a supervised sampling inspection on 7 types and 634 batches of food, and detected a total of 35 unqualified foods. Among them, fresh peaches extracted from China Resources Vanguard Supermarket were found to have excessive levels of highly toxic pesticide residues, and other three batches of bananas were also found to have pesticide residues.
It is understood that the sampling inspection of 7 types of food has been carried out, and edible oil, seasonings, jellies, infant formula milk powder have all passed the test. Fruits were extracted from 50 batches of peaches and bananas. One batch of peaches and three batches of bananas were found to be unqualified. The unqualified items were overweight of carbofuran and carbendazim, and the unqualified rate was 4%. Carbofuran is a highly toxic pesticide. Carbendazim is a commonly used pesticide. If the residue exceeds the standard, it will cause damage to the human body.
The pickling foods had the highest unqualified sampling rate, and 80 batches were taken. 29 batches were found to be unqualified (two of them were re-examined), the unqualified rate was 36.25%, and the unqualified items were mostly cyclamate. And benzoic acid exceeded the standard, including Fuling mustard and other well-known brands.
