European aluminum extruded billets continue to maintain high

According to recent reports from foreign media, the strong demand and tight supply have kept European aluminum extrusion billets high. A European aluminum producer said that the current market demand is strong, the premium has exceeded 400 US dollars, the highest point can reach 460 US dollars. Aluminum producers in other parts of Europe stated that the spot premium for bar billet is US$380 and may be as high as US$390. An aluminum producer pointed out that 18 months ago, the billet premium also had an increase, but prices began to fall afterwards. After many buyers have experienced the previous round of price changes, they are still not worried about the loss of their current high-priced contracts if prices fall. A Western European aluminum producer also pointed out that the trend of rising premiums in recent months will not continue and the market will be cyclical and cyclical. The producer expects that the billet premium will likely fall back to US$350 during the September-October period.
